CRESTLINE, Calif., July 24 (Inland Empire News Online) — A black bear pushed open the front door of the Crestline Village Water District office in the San Bernardino Mountains on Wednesday afternoon, then spent only a few minutes inside before calmly leaving, according to district surveillance video and employees.

The video shows the bear standing on its hind legs to enter the office at about 12:15 p.m., the water district said. Staff said no customers were in the building at the time, and no one was in danger.

The bear stayed in the lobby for about two minutes, then went briefly into the main office area before heading back out toward the woods. The office manager said the only marks left behind were nose prints on the doors and that the bear caused no property damage.
