VICTORVILLE, Calif., Sept. 29 (High Desert News Online) — San Bernardino County Regional Parks plans to hold its annual Mojave Narrows Harvest Festival & Haunted Hayrides on Saturday, Oct. 10, 2026, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Mojave Narrows Regional Park, 18000 Yates Road in Victorville. The county park is both the venue and the event’s producer.

What is planned?

This year’s theme is Pumpkin Patch. The parks department lists a pumpkin patch, trick-or-treating, costume contests for all ages, games, a petting zoo, inflatables, live music and food. It advertises pumpkins for $5 each and a movie, though it has not named the film or the performers.

The festival changes from year to year. For the Oct. 11, 2025, edition, the county advertised a Dr. Pains Snake Oil and Tonics theme and a screening of “Hotel Transylvania.” That screening was part of last year’s plans, not a confirmed title for 2026.

How much does it cost?

Park admission for the festival is $15 per vehicle. Haunted hayrides cost an additional $5 per person. The parks department lists 25 seats for each ride time slot, and riders must complete a waiver.

The department’s festival page says hayride tickets go on sale Monday, Sept. 28, at 8 a.m. Banners on other parks pages instead say tickets go on sale Oct. 10, the day of the event. The department has not clarified which date visitors should rely on. Its posted ride schedule also includes departures after the stated 9 p.m. festival closing time.

Are the hayrides suitable for children?

The parks department advises against the ride for children 3 and under. It says the effects and sound may make it unsuitable for children under 13. The event is scheduled to run rain or shine, with no refunds.
