LAREDO, Texas, June 23 (Del Rio Online) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers seized 1,100.79 pounds of suspected methamphetamine from a commercial truck at the World Trade Bridge in Laredo, Texas, after a secondary inspection on June 15, the agency said.

CBP said an officer referred a 2013 D-13 Volvo hauling a shipment listed as “polypropylene” for additional screening. A canine inspection and a nonintrusive inspection system examination led officers to the drugs, which the agency said had a street value of $10,122,012.

CBP said it seized the narcotics. Homeland Security Investigations special agents are investigating.
