ANAHEIM, Calif., June 28 (Our Los Angeles) — A 13-year-old guest exited a ride vehicle on Disneyland Resort’s Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in Anaheim and slid down the attraction’s final roughly 50-foot drop Sunday, prompting cast members to stop the ride, Disneyland officials said.

The boy was taken to a local hospital for a precautionary evaluation and later released, according to Disneyland. The attraction stayed closed for the rest of the day.

Disneyland officials said the ride reopened after an inspection. Cal/OSHA spokesperson Katherine Wzorek told NBC News that investigators “did not find any operational issues.”

Tiana’s Bayou Adventure is part of Disneyland Resort, a major Southern California destination for theme-park visitors. The state inspection and the ride’s return to service were the main immediate operational responses after the incident.
