Victorville’s Green Tree Golf Course and Pro Shop will close for one day on Sept. 1 as city staff assumes operations from Sierra Golf Management and receives training. Both are scheduled to reopen Sept. 2, with daily hours remaining unchanged, according to a City of Victorville release.
Sierra Golf Management chose to cancel its contract with 30 days’ notice. The city will operate the golf course and Pro Shop effective Sept. 1 while it searches for a new operator, the release states.
Green Tree is a public golf course in Victorville on Green Tree Boulevard. The course serves local and visiting golfers, families, outing groups and other community members.
